CHEMICALS IN OUR BODIES

On average, American women use 12 personal care products per day which exposes them to up to 126 unique chemical ingredients on a daily basis. Skin is not a solid barrier – it's a penetrable organ that can easily absorb chemicals, especially with repeat exposure, many of harmful ingredients found in cosmetics have been linked to cancer, infertility, and hormonal dysfunction

WHY PARABEN FREE?

Parabens are a group of cosmetics preservatives, including butylparaben, propylparaben, methylparaben, and ethylparaben. It is estimated that more than 90% of all cosmetic products contain some form of paraben. Research showed evidence of a weak estrogen effect on cells in a way that could be problematic for binding to receptor sites that may cause proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells.
