We formulate with only cosmetic grade (non-nano) titanium dioxide in Emani products, pure titanium dioxide is a fine, white powder that provides a bright, white finish. This ingredient along with mica and iron oxides are used to aid in hiding blemishes, brightening the look of skin or yield colors in cosmetics. All makeup products that provide skin coverage like foundations/concealers or shaded products such as eye shadows, blushes and lipsticks will have either titanium dioxide, iron oxide or mica. These ingredients are deemed safe by FDA for cosmetic use. There are a lot of other ingredients that will and can have a negative impact on your health and especially if you have skin sensitivities. We encourage all women to read labels and hold manufacturer responsible for the consumer products they produces.
